8 How-to’s to Be a Better You

8 How-to’s to Be a Better You

As a parent and as a mental health professional I spend a lot of my time helping others. Honestly, “a lot” is probably a gross understatement. Don’t get me wrong, its why I went into the profession. I wanted, and still want, to help people, save the world, solve world hunger, create a legacy. In reality, after almost eighteen years, I’m tired. (HOLY CRAP.. Its almost been 18 years of #adultin.) When I say I’m tired, what I mean is, my soul is tired, I’m still tired from pregnancy and its never stopped. Nevermind, my little is five years old....

The Overdone List of MUST Haves In Your Hospital Bag

The Overdone List of MUST Haves In Your Hospital Bag

I am writing you this list, scratch that, I am writing ME this list so I never forget all of the things I need in my hospital bag when we have baby #2.  I have seen these lists before, but this is my list.  I will call it the minimalist list because you don’t need extras cluttering up all your space. Plus, I love the idea that my four year old can help with the project. She’s at an age that she loves to help so deciding to carve...

Blog #1 & My Tale Of Being Induced

Blog #1 & My Tale Of Being Induced

Here it is.  My first blog post ever.  I’m going to be bringing you some candid stories about my adventures in parenting.  I’m not telling you how to do it, I’m telling you how I did it.  I’m team parent… parents unite; celebrate each other and each of our ways!  NO parent shaming here (because we live in a world where we have to use shaming in our vocab). Let's get started!  I’m going to skip the majority of my 9-month journey because it was boring.  Let's make a long story short to get us to the day of induction....
